Record and Custody Routing
Hall Sheriff is the published local starting point for an arrest, booking, transport, or custody-routing question. The county uses Childress County Jail for inmate housing under a contract, subject to availability and changing terms. Hall’s page does not publish a separate records line, a photo fee, or a public booking feed. Ask for the responsible custodian and use a written Texas Public Information Act request for existing records.
Childress states that Open Records requests must be written and can be delivered in person, by mail, or by email. Its published fee table does not establish a Hall booking-photo price or turnaround. Verify mailing addresses before sending a request because older county listings differ from the current Hall Sheriff page.

- For current custody or supervision status, use official IVSS; it is not a photo source.
